Guest megavar Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Hi Guys and Gals, another newbie joining the ranks and looking forward to asking plenty of dumb questions. I'm looking to speeding up what has been a drawn out start to my training. It has taken me over 6 months to collect 12 hours in the air. Hopefully the next 12 hours won't take as long. cheers Matt
Guest Decca Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Hi Matt, welcome to the Rec Flying Forum! Nobody will treat your questions as dumb on this website because everyone appreciates the fact they’ve still got lots to learn. Those who are answering your questions are learning by teaching, as you will in the future. So stay positive and you’ll get further, quicker. Besides you’ve progressed 3 or 4 times further than me in the same time frame so you’re not the slowest. If the weather’s holding you up, get into the theory books if you haven’t done any yet, even if you have a little revision doesn’t go astray. Regards, Decca.
slartibartfast Posted September 26, 2007 Posted September 26, 2007 Cheers Matt and welcome. As you have realized, you need to get out of Tasmania. It is a silly state. Ross
Guest browng Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Welcome, and the only dumb question is the one you don't ask.....
blueshed Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Hi Matt Welcome, is it the rain which is holding you up? If so hasn't rained in SA for a long time, could you send a bit over? please! Have fun. Safe Skies Cheers Guy
Guest megavar Posted September 27, 2007 Posted September 27, 2007 Yeah, its the rain, the wind and the low cloud. Tassie isn't a perfect flying state unfortunately. cheers, Matt
