JG3 Posted May 20, 2015 Posted May 20, 2015 The article in the last mag, 'Seeing the USA from Above', missed including a link to the blog with the photos and the full story. And there are some pretty good photos of that spectacular scenery over there.... Come along for the ride at http://jgflyingroadtrip2014.blogspot.com.au/ JG 5
Gnarly Gnu Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Terrific JG, enjoyed that article. Fabulous scenery in country USA, must've been a lot of fun.
aj_richo Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Yeah good stuff.. I could almost see a business opportunity here, renting your rig to Aussies for USA fly drive adventures..
ben87r Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Have to read the article when I get home but, looking forward to it! I'm planing on going at the end of the year to build some multi time and have a few friends coming along to share the costs (not exactly how I sold it to them:oh yeah:) . I can hire a C310/BE58 over there for half the cost of a C210 here Looking at doing about 30hrs there and some traveling. Might to a sneaky B200 endo do if the wallet permits.
fly_tornado Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The problem with CV carbs is the needle floats around in the atomiser/emulsion tube. you never get really good fuel distribution
Guy s Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Thanks for sharing JG and some awesome photos, what a trip it must have been and Well done on doing it
