Well they can give a million to the RAA.
kasper Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Well they can give a million to the RAA. They gave us $133k last year in operating grant ... and that was more than 25% increase over the previous year ... so asking for $1m more would seem - from the CASA viewpoint - a bit rich. Looking from the RAA side we have 10,000'ish members and 3,000'ish aircraft - calling them all the same value from an admin perspective we get around $10/yr per member or aircraft ... I'd love to see CASA run even just the bare aircraft register and pilots licence admin for $10/yr per item ... just running a database and sending out a reminder letter and confirmation would eat up more than that. to rip off Charles Dickens ... Mr CASA, May we have some more please?
