Hi everyone

Good to join the group.

I am currently learning to fly the A22 Foxbat with the awesome team over at Sydney Recreational Flying Club at the Oaks and loving every moment of it. We had a pretty wet few days the last week in Sydney and it was awesome to be able to practice short field take offs and landings on the only (semi) dry 100 or so metre portion of the grass runway (The Jabs next door couldn't fly 013_thumb_down.gif.ec9b015e1f55d2c21de270e93cbe940b.gif).

Look forward to chatting with you all further soon!

Welcome Sir,. . .can't tell whether that first letter in your handle is an Ell, or an Eye !

Don't be too hard on the Jabberwocky Jockeys,. . .maybe they were just playing it safe, small wheels / mud and suchlike ? ? ?

They certainly are. I did my first 10 hours or so flying with Dave and then moved over to SRFC. I had my first solo last week and it was fantastic to have both CFI's (Dave and Greg) waiting to shake my hand when I got back in!
