Guest Ranger Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Hi All, Just thought I'd drop in to say G'day from Sussex Inlet. I just started my flying lessons at Moruya Airport (Gazelle) I think I already owe them a new set of tires! I'm hoping some of you guys may be able to help me fill in some gaps during the up and coming learning curve, like which ways home? and how do I get this thing back up the right way? Cheers for now.
Ross Posted October 3, 2007 Posted October 3, 2007 Hi Ranger I remember in my early days that one of the problems with some of the aircraft that I and other low time pilots were learning to fly was that they seemed to suffer from some form of extreme vibrations or shaking. We all eventually learnt that it could be fixed by simply unclenching and removing the tightly clenched fist from around the control stick. Enjoy your flying more and more as it becomes familiar and automatic. Regards
Guest Ranger Posted October 4, 2007 Posted October 4, 2007 Hi Ross and Chris, Thanks for the welcome! As for those vibrations Ross, I have no fear! my instructor will vibrate more than I. I do however have respect and caution for what I'm doing.I'd be happy to gang upside down until my instructor explained how to get it back up the right way:) Chris, I think your right, It is going to be a grand adventure that most people I know will never do. Cheers, Glen
