facthunter Posted July 22, 2015 Posted July 22, 2015 The main factor there is the head wind, and with all winds you get shear as you go from freestream velocity to the one near the ground, so you airspeed will decrease without adding power or sink rate, or back stick (in a headwind) as was noticeable there.
