Eric McCandless Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 It snowed around the Goulburn district last Thursday night, one of the biggest snowfalls for about 20 years. Here are some photos taken on Saturday (approx 36 hours later) over the town of Crookwell and surrounds just to the north-west of Goulburn. Eric 10 3
red750 Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Great pics Eric. I've only viewed them on my Android tablet, but look forward to seeing them on my 24inch monitor when I get back home.
planedriver Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Brrr! Great pictures Eric. Hope the cabin heater was working well.
Guernsey Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Great pics, lots of soft white landing areas there. . Sorry, Alan.
Yenn Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 It is cold enough here in Qld. I would hate to be back down there. A friend lived in Bigga and that as cold enough at christmas. I lived at Moss Vale and have vowed never to go back because of the cold. It does look nice, especially from a distance.
Old Koreelah Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Great pix Eric. The coating of white sure makes things look different. Did it affect your navigation?
flyerme Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Wow that's an awesome view Eric, thanks for sharing
Oscar Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 Friends have a farm about 20k east of there - halfway between Taralga and Oberon (Glen Road). On Thursday night they got about 15cm of snow. 1
SDQDI Posted July 21, 2015 Posted July 21, 2015 We actually had two falls within a week to the east of us which I don't think has happened in a looooonng time. I took dad for a fly Saturday morning to have a closer look, it was a bit bumpy but the views were magic. Stupid camera was full so no pics but we still loved it. It was not as good as those first few pics but still spectacular.
