Yenn
Buy the Tony hayes book and you will get Tony hayes biased view of the Thruster. You will then be committed to always doing wheeler landings, because you can't 3 point the Thruster.
terryc
Tony was a promoter of wheelers during training but he certainly would expect you to be able to three pointer a thruster and once mastered they are easy.

Tom Brearley
I'd also be very interested in getting hold of the T300 manual, if anyone else has a copy they no longer need? Many thanks Tom
Methusala
Not much useful information in them I'm afraid. Not meaning to be disrespectful to the late Tony , just my opinion. Don
Yenn
Tony told me personally that you couldn't three point the Thruster, plus several other things I didn't believe.

You can, and i have - many times. but there is a knack to it. After you round out you glide in ground effect while working the stick back, then just as it stalls with the wheels 2 inches off the ground - you stuff the stick right back - the wing stalls and you roll on on three wheels.

I have flown with Tony on quite a few occasions and half our landings were 3 point, you had to 3 point or you didn't get your certificate
