facthunter Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 You wouldn't retract the flap that quickly (I would think) .In any case wheelbarrowing is likely if there's any crosswind issues particularly.. IF it's flying at that attitude it has enough speed to climb away. A lot of pilots adopt a carry a bit of extra speed on longer runways habit. (Just fly it on). It has it's risks. Nev
red750 Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 It's an Aviamilano Nibbio. Try this one. I don't usually give clues, but it is French.
facthunter Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 It has no French letters on the sides. Nibbio means a species of bird from the Kite family, by the way, so they are just flying a kite. Nothing serious. Nev
Birdseye Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 It's an Aviamilano Nibbio. Never would have guessed it. There is one up for sale Aviamilano Nibbio F14 aircraft for sale - AUD 78,586 - G-OWYN - AirCraft24.com
derekliston Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 Has a definite Robin HR variant look, no idea which though!
red750 Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 The new one is the French one. Here is the original photo (unretouched) of the Nibbio.
Birdseye Posted April 25, 2018 Posted April 25, 2018 The new one is the French one. Here is the original photo (unretouched) of the Nibbio. Best to ignore the facile distraction attempts.
derekliston Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 No bites at the bare metal machine? Closest I can get is maybe a Chris Heintz design for Robin. Has the look from trailing edge back of a 2160, but obviously not one of them.
derekliston Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Jodel D11? D11 is wood and fabric with the typical Jodel cranked wing! Bit of a problem this one.
red750 Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 OK. Seems to have you tossed. It's called 'le Sensation', from Etudes Services Prestations Aeronautiques en Controle et Equipement (ESPACE) (also known as Aeroflying). Let's see how we go with this one.
kasper Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 Try this one Ok. #630 remain open and without any guesses. You have till tomorrow to guess and then I’ll reveal.
kasper Posted April 26, 2018 Posted April 26, 2018 #630 Avery JA-5 Walrus Well done. A touch more modern than the Supermarine walrus I was read up on when I stumbled across it
red750 Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 Not one bite! Ok, it's a G1 Aviation G1 Gelinotte from France. Will we have more success with this one?
kasper Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 The French did a radial engines storch... I’ll look for it
