red750 Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 I got it off the Vintage Bonanza's facebook page.
Mick Posted January 12, 2017 Posted January 12, 2017 I got it off the Vintage Bonanza's facebook page. Definitely not a Globe Swift but quite similar, a nice look.
red750 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Alright all you aircraft sleuths. What is this? I have a video of it in flight.
Riley Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Alright all you aircraft sleuths. What is this? I have a video of it in flight. That's gotta be the epitomization of the term 'wet wings'
bexrbetter Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Alright all you aircraft sleuths. What is this? I have a video of it in flight. Dunno, but I'd have a beer with the designer with his sense of humour! 1
kasper Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Collection of spares from WWII and a spanner? Or otherwise known as the Eldred ED2 Flyers Dream But not the dream I'd have 1
red750 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Here's one without a photo. What single engined light aircaft was made into a twin by joining two fuselages at the wing and tail a la Twin Mustang? Photo when you identify it.
pmccarthy Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 What happens when they want to go in different directions?
Bats Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Incidentally Anthony Fokker is credited with being the first to use the twin fuselage concept in 1915 odd and the Germans are supposed to have toyed with an Me-109 in similar configuration to the Twin Mustang.
red750 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 Hi Willie, While you are dead correct, it's not to one I was thinking of. Mine was low wing.
Yenn Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I think they made a twin fuse Mustang and this one is similar.
red750 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 It appears that this is a fairly popular concept. The aircraft I was thinking of was the Twin Ercoupe. Here's the Twin Cub The Bestetti Nardi BN1 And this one, the Kruger Intergalactic F-83 TWIN MERLIN 1
kasper Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 And do not forget the electric cafe winner The Pipistrel Taurus G4
red750 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I guess the ultimate is the Virgin Galactica LauncherOne 1
IBob Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 Love the cowcatcher on the front.....)
