AAIB reported that the Banner cables got tangled in the tail controls. . . . 1

HARDY HAR HAR. . . . goodonyer PM. . . . . .however, the Wilga incident, which can be sourced in total on the UK AAIB website ( open to all ) does not attribute the accident to a "spin" of any description,. . .external control interference was the cause of the problem. . . .some very good piloting enabled the aircraft to be put down ON A RUNWAY in a reasonably safe "CRASH" . . . . and because of the prominence of the passenger, the media went into a frenzy of weird headlines,. . .as one would expect. The pollies who were opposed to the passenger's political party ( UKIP ) made sure that a photograph of the guy covered in blood, sitting on the grass was emblazoned all over the MSM tabloid press. . . . . And now it seems that this same bloke MAY be the only person who will save Britain from being totally overrun by "Refugees" from one of those religions we can't mention here. . . . But I digress. I will keep my political opinoins out of here, and maybe comment in the OFF TOPIC area at some stage,. . . .unless I have already been arrested by the newly formed UK Thought Police. . . Phil 1

A 39-year-old man from the London area has been confirmed as the pilot of a light aircraft killed in a crash in Northamptonshire. The accident happened at Hinton-in-the-Hedges airfield near Brackley at 12:10 BST on Friday, police said. The Air Accidents Investigation Branch is leading the investigation into the crash with local police. The victim's next of kin have been informed and formal identification of the deceased will take place on Monday. East Midlands Ambulance Service said crews arrived at the airfield "within minutes" to treat a man who was described as having serious injuries, and later died. *** Two of the witnesses are people that I know personally, who happened to be visiting the accident airfield. - and will, no doubt, be interviewed by AAIB. The bit about "Full Flap still deployed" were their words, and not official output. Phil
