This aircraft ( 2 seat Spit ) had been advertised for sale for around £3.5M . . . left wing ripped off in incident, could be repaired ( possibly ) dunno what other damage to fuse / etc. . . . fly_tornado Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 That's the second spitfire in a month to crash and loose a wing, that doesn't inspire a lot of confidence in who ever rebuilt those spars.
