old man emu Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I love English place names - Ballsover. Here it's Headover. It's interesting that Balsover is not far from Cannock, as the Aussie drives. You ought to move to Nobottle in Northants. OME

kgwilson Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 We know who put the tea in Britain but who put the c***t in Scunthorpe?
Marty_d Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Was it just "Brian" before the tea? Apparently back in the old days, when streets were named after the main commercial activity taking place in the area, "C**tgrope Lane" was fairly common.
pmccarthy Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I seem to remember a story about a tea merchant who offered FAR tea, which was strongly flavoured, SHI tea which had a similar flavour but was more full-bodied and CUN tea which was very popular and he couldn't keep up the supply. 1
planedriver Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 Just be careful what you order at "The House of Rising Sun Tea Rooms at Pratts Bottom in Sus sex 1
