Danwright11 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Hi everyone. Just a quick post to introduce myself. My name is dan and i am living in darwin. I am in melbourne at the moment untill october 23. I have just completed my first two hour lessons in melbourne in a foxbat. Was great fun. My late grandfather was an avid pilot and it has been a lifelong dream of mine to become a pilot and follow in his footsteps. I will be doing most of my training in darwin. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Cheers. Dan
Geoff13 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Welcome. Listen to your instructors, study the literature and most of all remember it should be fun. 1

Would just agree with Geoff that reading up the stuff you expect to do in your next lesson is always a good idea so you understand why/what you are doing when it comes to the practical side of the next lesson. Also don't expect it all to go smoothly every time! We all have a few occasions where we forget stuff and it seems like we are not progressing. But keep on and it will all fall into place! And the most important point - enjoy it!! Cheers, Neil
