I have the Ray Allen one in Mabel and will only have it..I wont wire a dash one in...no need really

Both types could fail anyway so not that big of a deal

It's probably easiest just to go with one trim switch.

Sure, but if one would like have two?

Could a 3 stage relay be an option?

I'm thinking a simple toggle switch to interrupt the two wires to the servo. So its either on the dash or the stick. Thus no feed back

I have placed a simple two way switch on the panel. One way for the panel switch and the other for the ray Allen. Problem fixed.

Next question. Is the book correct that the roof can't be done until the wings are on. I want to get as much done at home before the hanger trip and assemble the wings and tail.

Thanks Lyndon

I did some thinking about the trim switch and flap switch problem. Easiest way is a second switch to chouse if you want to use the switch in the panel ore on the stick. But I would like to have both options without the need for an extra switch. One solution could be to use 2 relais in something called H-bridge... if you press one or two switches for the same direction the servo runs...if you press up+down or none the servo rests.

I will let you know, if it works, when I'm tested it.

I have done exactly that and very happy with the results.

My only problem is electrical noise clicking over the radio from the relays. I was to lazy to fit capacitors on the relay contacts to catch the arc made by the d.c. when the contacts opened. I should have also fitted diodes to the relay coils to stop any back emf when the coil de-energized. Picture shows my game joy stick I got from a pawn shop for a few $ptt.jpg.ee37fca0aa7775b943002ee2d663a7d9.jpg

Thank you for warning me. I will try to take my time and use some diodes to prevent noise in com system.

I reckon that the capacitors will be even better than the diodes, but both will definitely work well.
