pmccarthy Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 with a total fire ban and very strong gusty winds it was not a good day for flying. I hope people at Lancefield and Nar Nar Goon are all ok. I didn't consider flying, but the wind blew down the side fence on the dog yard and the dog hot out and killed one of our sheep. Dog is very much in the dog house at present.will not be allowed to play with the grandchildren for some time! 1
Marty_d Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Your dog's lucky he didn't belong to my old man (when he was alive). Any hound that was caught chasing sheep was shot. 4

Litespeed Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 In my family who started on the land as sheep farmers, any dog that had a "taste" was immediately put down. Once they have tasted they will revert to genetic programming and do it again. And can not be trusted with livestock or children. Sad but true. But you could always test the dog to check. Here is a idea for the kiddies.................. https://www.google.com.au/search?q=child+in+sheep+suit&rlz=1C1FGGD_enAU609AU610&espv=2&biw=853&bih=473&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0CBsQsARqFQoTCIvDq5q8r8gCFUcxpgodVpgIlA#imgrc=dPP5nlWGr852JM%3A Might not be popular with the parents though.
