VFR Pilot Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 I have been spraying my plane with 2 Pak and have got some fine overspray on my acrylic canopy. Any suggestions on what to use to remove it?
facthunter Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Since it is harder than the canopy I would suggest very FINE cutting compound. Solvents wont work once it is hardened, then bon ami and mr sheen. Nev
corvairkr Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Slip down to your local auto parts store and grab yourself a "clay bar" use plenty of lube , a strong mix of a good quality car wash will suffice . That's the least aggressive approach and should sort it out. Jason
Kyle Communications Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 The clay bar works a treat...I used it on my windscreen with some 2 pack overspray...it takes a while so be patient but it works well
