Captain Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 HAVE JUST REALISED, AFTER POSTING THIS, THAT THE SUBJECT IS COVERED UNDER "A SAD DAY" ... SO WILL RE-POST IT THERE. I am surprised at thecriticism of LFA, the SAAA &their keyExecutives in this months RAA magazine, let alone the vehemance of what the Pres & others have said. They must really have a burr under their saddle on this ... and I hope that it isn't a personal thingy. Surely such"dirty linen" would have been better washed less publicly, although I guess that the Exec might think that the members have a right to know. I would have thought that such a public bunfight and slanging match does nobody any good, splits the meagre resources of experimental aviation andI shudder to think what the Poli's must think .... let alone the forces of darkness who want to sink our form of aviation. What do you reckon? Regards Geoff Captain
Guest danda Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Sorry Geoff I disagree you completely we are entitled to the full details no matter how dirty. I believe that the way the SAAA and the LFA and their key Executives have handled this issue shows that they are only driven by their own agenda. I was always taught that a mans word is his bond it would appear that these men’s word is worthless, ego is a terrible thing especially when it has the potential to harm others as this issue does. Don
Guest micgrace Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hi Don As long as I can remember RAA (AUF) have never really had very harmonious relations. I'm waiting on my mag to see. Micgrace
Guest danda Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hi Michael I am lucky I have been able to speak to some old hands and understand that the relationship has always been rocky however that doesn’t excuse someone breaking their word. I believe that for the good of all aviation these so called mature people should bury their differences and work together not bury one another. Don
Guest micgrace Posted July 11, 2006 Posted July 11, 2006 Hi Don I agree. All forms of aviation must work together or we all go down. Aviation in Australia is small enough now no point adding to the problems. Micgrace
