Broken Hill to Bathurst trip - Ferry Sav

Monday 18th /19th will be an interesting 2 days . Rex flight from Sydney to BHQ . Looks hot again too , luckily not as hot as last week .

 

Tue 19th - leave early from BHI to ferry a Savvy back to ybth , plan at moment will be Cobar, Dubbo and Bathurst .

 

If i manage phone service, will pop up some pics online.

 

This will first time to Broken Hill and Cobar .. look forward to it .

Went BHI to CBA just last month with a sav ferry as well. Lots of nothing out there. Horrendous thermals and turbulence during the heat of the day, but had phone service everywhere.

Enjoy the trip, I await the photos.

flown my Savannah from Broken hill - narromine- sydney, get to 9500, take advantage of the increased TAS. took 5 .5 hrs from Broken hill to Narromine with a 10 Kt headwind all the way.

Stopover Narromine is a good idea. Motel is at the aerodrome. Best to call ahead and book. They are flyers and understand if you are delayed arriving or leaving. Start very early.
