Chris SS Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Please would someone advise the current condition of Tangalooma strip. Is it suitable for a 172?
Guest asmol Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 nope, was there a few weeks ago by boat and its very poor condition atm. They dont like visitors except rescue helicopters so i was told. The guy i talked to was not very nice to be honest. The water is clear and lost of small fish to take your bait !

They are not real friendly to anyone that is not spending time at the resort at the moment.. Given the current economic climate, you think they would be begging for local visitors. Those of us who are boaties have seen that before at couran cove. 1
Tomo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Helps if you know someone there... I used to fly in there a bit, never had to much trouble with anyone but I did have some contacts which may have helped! 1
Graham Pukallus Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Fly over once a month enroute to Dunwich and more recently to Evans Head, it looks it is mowed but recommend you call the resort for recent use and condition. I believe it has a $50 landing fee but this may be different if your staying at the resort.
