Guest ozzie Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Awesome! All MK 1 Scouts must be 1975/6. I remember Lance well he was a regular contributor to the MAFA Contact news letter when i was editor of it. Made a few trips down south to fly with us as well. Got any more? How about some of the trips to Magnetic Island on floats.
corvairkr Posted February 5, 2016 Author Posted February 5, 2016 Ozzie I'm not sure if Christian has any more footage.Id love to see footage of them heading to Maggy on floats though ...lol braver than me Jason
frank marriott Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Makes the Xair look like a F18 If some of the current CASA individuals see this they would still looking for their stress medication. 1 1
SSCBD Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Started twitching watching this - the good old days - no license - no takeoff checks - kick the tyres - light the fires - and into the either. Was amused with the compass on the yellow scout airborne. Did not know the Townsville boys got that high on top of the trees, we tried to go between them due to nosebleeds and pucker factor that high up down south.
robinsm Posted February 5, 2016 Posted February 5, 2016 Thats what its all about, fun, self responsibility, Ultralight flying. Thats how it all started. CASA, eat your heart out, heres someone doing something that is actually fun with out bureaucracy and over regulation. Cant have that. 1
