bexrbetter Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Reminds me, much of my marriage's foundation is psychological, I'm logical, she's psycho.
rgmwa Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Ah, a nicely balanced relationship, Bex. You're a lucky man! rgmwa
Deskpilot Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Reminds me, much of my marriage's foundation is psychological, I'm logical, she's psycho. May be, but she a very pretty psycho. As rgmwa says, you're a very lucky man. 1
Gnarly Gnu Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Reminds me, much of my marriage's foundation is psychological, I'm logical, she's psycho. That's sad, my wife and I enjoy a gay marriage.
Bikky Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 That's sad, my wife and I enjoy a gay marriage. Me too. If I do something wrong, I get well and truly reamed! 2
Gnarly Gnu Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Well that sounds the opposite to gay then right.... bit fiery some of those ones eh.
Bikky Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 True! Nothing like a Brazilian woman to make life interesting. Full of passion and fire. Must be handled with care at all times! 1
bexrbetter Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 True! Nothing like a Brazilian woman to make life interesting. Full of passion and fire. Must be handled with care at all times! Sounds familiar. They say it's the hot chile here! I have double trouble though, she's a lawyer and can instantly answer everything with a turned around question that has only a "guilty as charged" answer, you have to think very carefully how you respond! My most common answer is "We're not in a bloody Courtroom now!" That's sad, my wife and I enjoy a gay marriage. Oh that's nice, which part of Greece is she from? 2
Marty_d Posted February 8, 2016 Posted February 8, 2016 Strange, I always assumed Gnu was a man. Guess I shouldn't make assumptions like that!
Bikky Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 That's sad, my wife and I enjoy a gay marriage. Each to their own, I guess. I do need to ask though - who's active and who's passive? 1
Gnarly Gnu Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Strange, I always assumed Gnu was a man. You assumed correctly this time. Where you came unstuck was your understanding of the adjective gay. Perhaps blame your teachers?
Marty_d Posted February 9, 2016 Posted February 9, 2016 Nope, I know that languages change over time. As much as you may mourn the loss of an adjective for "carefree" or "happy", time to face the fact that it now means "homosexual" to the majority of English speakers. Still, your marriage is your marriage, and you can be as happy - or as gay - as you want to be!
pmccarthy Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 "Harry the Breaker, the man was really gay" - Slim Dusty "A bachelor gay am I"- Peter Dawson "Have a Gaytime" - Streets Icecream
bexrbetter Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Where you came unstuck was your understanding of the .... ... year 1952 It is now 2016 and the English language is ever dynamic. 1
Bruce Tuncks Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 A tee-shirt I saw in the shopping center had this message... I HAVEN'T GOT MENOPAUSE I'm just a bitch
Litespeed Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 The word 'gay' has been loaded for a long time here in Australia- at least since the 70's. My first wifes last name was Gay. She hated it with a passion, though not as much as her brother who was Ian Bruce Gay. His initials caused no end of stirring and bullying at highschool in the 70's I. B. Gay Not a lot of fun as a kid- parents should really be careful when naming their kids. 1
pmccarthy Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 Not like the careless parents who named Pat Hiscock and Mike Hunt.
Bruce Tuncks Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 What about Rod Stiff? Can you believe he called his son Richard? There is a song about a boy named Sue. About witches... when you look up the history of witch killings, you will find it shocking about how much evil can hide behind pious superstition. 1
