Garmin gps 111

I was recently given a Garmin 111 gps, a friend of mine has one in his plane and I thought it would be useful to have in the plane as a back up if the IPad failed. Can any body tell me how to transfer the waypoints from my mates gps to mine, thanks Keith.

Keith are you sure of your Model type?

Ive never heard of a Garmin 111.

Yes Garmin 111 gps fairly old but my mates one works fine, google it , only want it as a back up if we can get the right information on it thanks Keith.

It is the same thing, but if you search Garmin 111 it won't come up, they use letters for there numbers so Garmin Pilot III
