Tucano Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 The flyin on the 14th of may was perfect for those on in the air and on the ground with most pilots reporting totally calm flying conditions in 8/8 of blue. On the ground the Kandos Search & Rescue team provided all the necessary barbecued primary food groups on Saturday and Sunday morning. The dinner was at such a level that had some of us looking for the Sunday go to meeting gear. The catered meal and beverage were first class with Michael Smith providing a detailed presentation on his round the world odyssey with the word VFR redefined. See you next year For those who did not get there is a short vidieo. 1
Old Koreelah Posted May 20, 2016 Posted May 20, 2016 I was unable to go, but that awesome video shows me what I missed! Impressive setup, a credit to your community. Love drones or hate them, they have revolutionised aerial photography.
Tucano Posted May 20, 2016 Author Posted May 20, 2016 Agreed - without a drone you would need a million dollars worth of hardware and they give such a overview. The is glamour camping in the hangar for any one it they ask in advance.
