Chris SS Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Hi All, I would like to fly in to Noosa tomorrow to pick up a passenger. ERSA lists prior permission required with a number and email address. I have sent texts and left voice messages on the number, as well as sent an email. I have had no response. Does anyone have any info that may help?
ian00798 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Try the phone number at the bottom of this, I haven't tried it but it's different to the one in ERSA, so you may have more luck.
Chris SS Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Thanks Ian. That number is answered by a grumpy guy who says "I have told you all before, this number has NOTHING to do with Noosa Airport!"
ian00798 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I might send a message to AOPA and let them know then. Only other option I can think of is call sunny coast tower, there is a chance they would have a contact number, being so close to their airspace.
ian00798 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Or from the country airstrip guide, try 07 5442 4451
ian00798 Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Ignore that, it's the same number. Interesting that it's in 2 seperate documents.
Robbo Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Give Blue Toungue a call they should be able to help 0407 626 356
Robbo Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Further to that maybe email James Linke at [email protected]
ave8rr Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Could also try Jennifer Beck 0419 784 715 Suncoast Flying School
Yenn Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 I went there years ago. Drove in with a friend who kept bees there. There was a sign on one of the hangars saying leave the landing fee. I was under the impression that you would be OK if you paid up. From memory $25 at that time.
Aldo Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Give this number a call, we have used Noosa recently 0400 902 166
Robbo Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Give this number a call, we have used Noosa recently 0400 902 166 That's the one in the ERSA and I presume it's the one he can't get through on?
Chris SS Posted April 4, 2016 Author Posted April 4, 2016 Thank you all for the numbers - I'll get on to the, in the morning. The 0400 mobile number is the number I have been trying.
