Heard it's gone down near the Bald Hills Wind Farm at Tarwin Lower.

 

72 year old pilot taken to Dandenong Hospital, not known about other pax.

News report saying he hit a tree while taking off due to a crosswind.

 

Hmmmm not sure of any strips near the wind farm.

That is further away from it, it seemed to happen right at the wind farm. So not sure, but you could be right.

the accident happened on Bald Hills Road Tarwin Lower but Geoff Goldsmith and Michael Carmichael have there Fish Creek strip on Harding & Lawsons Road Fish Creek so there is a fair distance between the two.

They should stop planting crosswinds near the airstrip then . They should only grow headwinds near the airstrip, and if the market demands crosswinds then they should grow them at the other end of the farm.....
