Thought it only right and proper that I say hello on joining.

 

Not a pilot yet, although hold on to the hope that one day I will - hopefully when the kids move out and I have some money! Love the idea of weightshift flying ever since I saw the BBC TV two part programme "Rally in the sky" and that is my aim at this time.

 

Been involved in aviation for many years and certainly since 1988 as a marshaller at events covering everything from C-17 to autogyro and weightshifts, and I was in airfield management at RAF Lakenheath for aalmost 4 years.

 

Love GA/homebuilt/microlights mostly as see them as the most accessible for people to enjoy flying, and enjoy vintage aircraft too.

 

I did solo many years ago in a Venture (Slingsby Falke motorglider) with the ATC and still get the chance occasionally to get up and fly with folks.
