J160 Throttle?

Hey Guys,

 

This may be a bit of a silly question but, where is the Throttle on the Jabiru J160.

It is Mounted on the "Dash" / Panel

Either Dash mounted or the traditional placeare both options.

my new flight school has 2 of em i hope atleast 1 has the " traditional " one :P not linking the idea of a dash mounted one in the jab :P

The J160 in the certified model has the throttle on the dash and it isn't available on the floor as per the traditional LSA model.

 

Shifty, the school you are going to has 3 x LSA 55 with floor mounted throttle and 2 x J160's with dash throttle. Pictures of these are on their website in the photo gallery. You will find no problem flying with the dash mounted throttle; it's quite easy.

The 160 is significantly roomier. the change in dimensions makes a big difference.

 

I like the change to throttle position. I find I hunch over a bit more than is comfortable in the LSA55
