Ed Herring Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Hi Shifty Either Dash mounted or the traditional placeare both options. Regards Ed
Guest aaronb Posted July 14, 2006 Posted July 14, 2006 Thanks Ed, my new flight school has 2 of em i hope atleast 1 has the " traditional " one :P not linking the idea of a dash mounted one in the jab :P Thanks guys
Guest Guest Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 The J160 in the certified model has the throttle on the dash and it isn't available on the floor as per the traditional LSA model. Shifty, the school you are going to has 3 x LSA 55 with floor mounted throttle and 2 x J160's with dash throttle. Pictures of these are on their website in the photo gallery. You will find no problem flying with the dash mounted throttle; it's quite easy.
Guest AusDarren Posted August 21, 2006 Posted August 21, 2006 The 160 is significantly roomier. the change in dimensions makes a big difference. I like the change to throttle position. I find I hunch over a bit more than is comfortable in the LSA55 Regards, Darren Latta
