Old Koreelah Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 On retirement, both my wife and I took up new sports. We each gained a new focus to our lives and met new people. Trouble is, her new friends keep dying; another one today. Just goes to prove that flying is heaps safer than lawn bowles. 1 3
Yenn Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 My wife gave a lecture about dyeing a few years ago. Someone commented that they had never heard of it being a subject people talked much about. It took a while for them to understand it was about vegetable dyeing. 1
planedriver Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 My ex-wife was a hairdresser and she'd normally curl up dye for anyone. Didn't happen when we going through settlement though, not that I would have wanted that anyway. We are still good friends, which is the best way to be. 1
farri Posted May 24, 2016 Posted May 24, 2016 A few years ago my 89 year old mother passed away! My father had been nursing her for two years so when she went, I said to my wife, " Well at least now dad will l be able spend some time with some of his old mates! Reply! " They`re probably all dead by now! ".....I hadn`t thought of that.
