Airfields in/near Wagga

Hi all,

 

A few of us are thinking of flying into Wagga NSW shortly and there was discussion on options nearby the main Wagga airfield.

 

Are there any smaller fields nearby:smoking:

Don't know why you wouldn't use Wagga but there are four others that are on the charts within 20 miles

All strips within 20 miles of Wagga are private/farm, all with no facilities. This includes Federation, even though it appears in ERSA. The Wagga City Aero Club puts on a tasty spread around mid-day on the first Sunday of each month. Fly-in visitors most welcome, 95.10 to bizjet.

Two of those thinking about travelling do not have security - ASIC - cards.

 

So the thought was a nearby strip.

Ok this may also be a reason one of the group mentioned not flying in to main Wagga

Just checked the charges and I don't think the decision would be based on an under $10 charge - think I read the Council fee charge site right
