facthunter
Glad you are now through it, successfully. A PPL is a licence to learn. the Certificate performs the same function. IF you have the right attitude you will never stop learning. Convert anxiety to heightened awareness of your situation. If you are totally relaxed you will someday receive a rude awakening due inattention.. Nev

Being able to roll the plane out and fly where ever you want to go... within the 25nm mile zone of course.I have my 2nd Navex tomorrow, and I will be within your vicinity Coominya - Gympie - Caloundra - Coominya. The forecast is looking good. I think I'm good with the 1-in-60's and the GS calculations now. I'm sure John will challenge me with something I won't be expecting though. DGL Fox
Hi All, Well started my XC on Wednesday, we did Redcliffe-Murgon-Gympie-Redcliffe around 3 hours in total as we landed at each airport, it was a great start and I enjoyed it very much, can't wait till my next one next week, next weeks is a bit longer... Redcliffe-Chincilla-Kingaroy-Redcliffe this one will probably run out to about 3.5 hrs, I am just in the process of doing my flight plan, I guess it will depend on the winds on the day. Well 10hrs dual won't take long and the 2 hrs solo and the exam of course and that will be it...hopefully will have my XC endorsement, I will try and put up some photos on the next one.. :) David

Still got one more nav to do, I believe it may be my solo nav, and then the exam. I can't believe I've already clocked up 12 hrs! It doesn't take long does it? It's the most fun I've had since going solo! Tony
