Anyone seen this series, currently running SBS 1 on Friday nights @ 9:30pm?

 

I caught some of the last one on 10/6, they were covering the 2015 Queen's birthday overflight by the Red Arrows, also the Biggin Hill festival of flight later the same day.

 

The 9 BAe Hawks of the Red Arrows formed up with 2 Hurricanes and 3 Spitfires for a flypast. Hawks had their speed brakes out and the WWII jobs were hammering along as hard as they could, but they made a spectacular sight.

 

Looks like it's on this week 17/6 too. Worth a look.

Saw Friday's episode last night. Pretty much had to have a towel to mop up the drool... 18 WWII Spitfires and Hurricanes in formation...

 

My wife came out and asked if I was coming to bed, then looked at the TV and said "Oh... Spitfires... good night then!"
