Guess I should expand on that a bit. I've had my PPL for a couple of years now, and mostly fly out of Moorabbin. I'm also a member of the SAAA, and currently building a Pietenpol Aircamper in my small garage!

Welcome Andrew. I am just trying to remember what the Pietenpol is like, will have to look it up. Will you be registering it RAAus or GA. Raaus will require you to pay rego and membership every year. You should be able to do your own maintenance being the builder, save the LAME costs.

 

Let us know how the build is progressing as several of us on this forum have built or are building.

Hi, I'm planning on GA registration. It's still quite a way off, but it's taking shape. Ill post a pic of what ive done so far when I work it out (probably easier on the computer). Glad I've found this forum.
