SSCBD Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 Hi Guys anyone have any idea on how many new RAA members are joining as student pilots a month, AND how many Pilot Certs are being passed or issued a month. Any one from the RAA office online here that has that information. Be interested to see if we are growing or shrinking. Be interested if the RAA gave a number of new students enrolled and Pilot Certs completed every month.
Nightmare Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 There was one who passed and got issued their cert in Feb.... ME!!!! Sorry, I know this doesn't answer your question, but I couldn't resist 1
DWF Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 ....... Be interested to see if we are growing or shrinking. ..... Nightmare. Are you growing or shrinking? 1
Nightmare Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 hahaha, If you mean growing in knowledge? You can't help but do that with this aviation stuff.
spacesailor Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I joined but failed the certificate, I resigned spacesailor
fly_tornado Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 From memory, 1600 join every year but 1700-1900 leave every year.
spacesailor Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 How about? How many small, low power, home built, as per ultralight aircraft, or is it a sudo GA club and license. Will we let "John Travolta" join with his recreational jumbo jet ?. spacesailor
Nightmare Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 How many hours did you put into it spacesailor? It's a shame if you did so much only to fail at the certificate stage. A CFI wouldn't send you out on your flight test if he/she didn't think you were ready. You could've redone the test. 1
