flying dog Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Ian, When reading a thread at the top of the screen, there are options for thread subscription or opting out. It would/may be nice if it was also at the bottom too. If I am subscripted and have read the last page, there is no "opt out" there. I have to scroll back to the top to get to it. No big, but just a suggestion.
Admin Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Thanks for the suggestion, will look into whether the real estate will play ball
red750 Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Hi Ian, I've mentioned this before, and cannot recall your response. My suggestion, for the news pages, is that when reporting a Flight Global story, as the story cannot be reported directly on this site, we have to link to the FG page. To do this, we have to scroll over a large amount of blank real estate to reach the link. Could the "Continue reading" link be moved, or floated, to the top?
Admin Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 Thanks for reminding me, its something that I have been meaning to fix
facthunter Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 I might be blind.. No I'm not cause I have new plastic lenses (20/20 without specs) but how do I start a new post? Looked for a link everywhere. Nev
Admin Posted July 29, 2016 Posted July 29, 2016 You just posted Nev or are you referring to a new thread? New threads are created by going to the forum that you want the thread to be in...click the 3 horizontal lines in the top corner, click forums from the list and then click the specific forum on the page. Then in the top right corner of the page that is shown click 'Post new thread'
facthunter Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Start New Thread ( so watch out) Thanks Ian. It doesn't jump out at you, but I will get used to it. nev
