Lyndon
Does the mixing assembly just fit on two bushes behind the cabin. If so I take it it moves ???. Manual seems to state this but seems odd. Lyndon

mcrowley
That is how it "mixes" the opposite movement needed for the ailerons while also providing the exact parallel, symmetrical movement for the flaps giving us our "flaperons." The back and forth movement tilts the whole assembly for the raising and lowering of the flaps function. I think it's brilliant engineering!
Lyndon
That's amazing. I just can't see it as I have just made it. I'm sure as I go to fit it will make sense. Thanks Lyndon
Marty_d
It's interesting when you compare to the 701's. Sav mixer is riveted aluminium whereas 701's is welded chrome moly, but the dimensions as relating to attachment points are exactly the same. When I bought my Sav undercarriage Mick threw in the mixer - I checked the sizes against the 701 plans, exactly the same - you beauty, that's one more thing I don't have to make! Lyndon
The bushes that move on the out riggers on the mixer. Should they be greased ???. Eg they operate the rods for the alerons etc. Lyndon
