After several hours of frustration the site search function has been added in the side menu column in the local development site. When this new menu system goes live it should make it a lot easier and quicker for users to search the site:

I don't use the 'NEW' button. I just click on any item in the topics in which I am interested that have the darker unread shading.

Ian there is no remember me button I have to log on each time .

Something is screwing up in the system. Every time I come back to the site, I promptly get a security verification code emailed to me - even though I'm logged in with the "remember me" button.

Looks like it's all good, now. Came back to the site and didn't get any login verification email.
