1,800 Usernames now freed up

I have just purged the database of users that have not logged on to the site in a couple of years thus freeing up a total of 1,800 previously used user names.

 

If you would like to change your user name, please go to:

 

Registered Members | Recreational Flying

 

and in the Find Member text box on the top right of the page enter the user name you would like. If it comes back showing no other users with that user name, send me a message requesting a change of user name From... To.... and I will update it for you.

 

Note, if you change your user name you still keep all your posts and every other details of yours on the site as all these change over to your new user name as well so you keep your post count, avatar etc.

 

This is done every now and then to keep the site up to date in its usage and true membership. For example we did have over 11,000 users but clearing out these old ones has reduced the site membership to around 9,250
