Normally its nice and quiet flying solo late afternoon without the instructor but not today - there was a bit of drama on the radio due to a plane having to make an unscheduled landing on the nearby lake! I was tempted to help out somehow but given my inexperience I decided to concentrate on flying my solo circuits safely and not let the drama distract me too much: ABOUT ME: I'm a student pilot learning to fly in my spare time. I originally received 30 hours of flying instruction 17 years ago and now I'm back in the cockpit and learning how to fly all over again.
