Hi, i have been lurking on this forum as a guest for a long time now and finally decided to do the right thing - join. Now it's time for this old fella (just turned 60) to get some lessons and enjoy life. This is a great site and has lots of interesting discussions and comments from many knowledgable persons who are very willing to offer help, insight and advice. I know i will continue to enjoy reading and hope to enjoy flying. Cheers, P.G.

I'm sure you will enjoy learning to be a pilot. I was 55 when I started flight training and treasured every moment . I have completed all my RAA endorsements (nav, passenger etc ) the next step is my RPL .

Training is great fun, relax and enjoy the experience ...........the next thing you will be flying your first solo.

Welcome.....there's lots to learn from this site!

Welcome to the flock.

Plenty of odd birds here. More like a menagerie really.

Oi! Who are you calling old?? I'm 61, and learnt to fly at age 54. Go for it! You will only regret not having done it sooner!

Cheers,

Welcome Pete:welcome:, as they have said, 60 is young here. It wasn't that long ago that I found myself in your position. You are in for some awesome experiences! So what are you thinking of flying?
