I saw this on a Newatlas.com.

 

It certainly will open up the ability of flight simulators and should greatly reduce the cost.

 

 

Also make a great amusement ride:happy dance:

Wow.. I want one.

 

The virtual reality headset will be a game changer anyway, and if you add the movement from that setup, you could hardly tell the difference.

 

It may be so good it will substitute for real flying.

Maybe same system or type of technology used for spider cam that they use at major sport stadiums around the world now. I'm sure I read it was a Aussie who came up with spider cam. Looks like fun.

I don't get the point? You can attach the cage to a conventional six axis arm, it's much more compact and faster responses than what is seen here. The only benefit I can see of the cable system is if you wish to move more around the space i.e. further distances of travel.
