Hi All,

Was a student a while back (few years now lol) and back into it at Gympie flight training. Got to say they are good and i love the Sportstar. Took me by suprise. Nice little plane.

Anyhow. See you on the forum on in the sky.

So what are you flying Chevy? Where are you at with your flight training?

By the way, I have flown into Gympie a couple of times now. Nice airfield, but it is in serious need of a taxiway to RWY 14 in my opinion. On my last trip there, I found it a bit of a challenge backtracking onto the runway, with all the traffic in the circuit at the time. It can be a busy little place, as I found out.

Cheers, Tony

Agree the traffic can be a little full on. Have to say some people are very inconsiderate. At one stage both runways were blocked with people not caring about other traffic.

Up to circuits now. circuits and more circuits.

I was doing my training a fair few years back in a C172 up to GFPT but stopped. Life/ex got in the way. But back to it now. Just about to take some time off work and knock most of it over.

Flying a sports star. Great little plane.

Looking at building but not sure yet. I was building a RV7 but that got lost in the ex saga.

What are you looking at purchasing.

What's your aircraft mission so to speak?

My wishlist: 100kt cruise speed, good endurance, that is, at least 4 hours, so probably 80Lt fuel tanks or more, 2 seats, 4 stroke engine, Transponder and radio. Tricycle undercarriage. Prefer factory built. As I said, not a lot out there at the moment, I'm in no rush.
