MartyG Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Well first training flight converting from GA to RAaus after a 28 year break yesterday, Went well on a hot bumpy day over Boonah, Little Tecnam Golf spent half the flight thinking it was a glider lol( Lots of free lift, bit annoying when trying to descend lol) Dumb ass rookie thought he was in a 172 when instructor said slight back pressure during takeoff run to lighten the nose wheel,Oops we appear to be airborne already, caught it fine though. Awesome to be back on the controls again, cant wait for more. Cheers Marty 6
OzScot Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Welcome back! Boonah's a great place to fly from and the Golf is good fun. Assuming you've got the same instructor as I've had, you'll be in great hands :-) Michael 1
