red750 Posted November 30, 2016 Posted November 30, 2016 This is a very old clip with Dean Martin and one of the best 'drunks' on TV, Foster Brooks. Very funny. The Airline Pilot Comedy Sketch 4

Right Rudder Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Ahh the memories what a great show that was
red750 Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 Saw another version of this skit, with Ernest Borgnine as a barman in place of Dean Martin. At the point where Foster Brooks says "I'm sure I've seen your face before", Borgnine said "I was on your plane. I sent you a note to ask where we were". Brooks replied "I sent the note back saying 'I don't know, I've never been this far off track before.' ".

red750 Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 He did a number of other professions as well - a brain surgeon, a dentist, and in celebrity roasts, a baseball umpire, etc., and sent up Don Rickles, Lucille Ball, Betty White, Sammy Davis Jr, Hubert Humphrey, Carroll O'Connor. 1
facthunter Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 I'm not a particular fan of Dean Martin and the Airline pilot thing is done to death pretty much with "these things fly themselves" aspect a pretty common theme. Nev
