Perpetually Valid

Recommended Posts

Had a slight hiccup with returning to flying after a 28 year break, Apparently I didnt get the letter back in the late 80s about getting my PPL license & logbook stamped as Perpetually Valid. But all sorted with Casa and my new reprint should be in the mail today. Anyone else have this issue?. Cheers

Hey Marty I see your postcode is 4310 = my necka the woods too - my Drifter is currently undergoing 'serious maintenance' at YBOA but I hope to be in the air again in a couple of months time - the recently constructed 'airstrip' at my place is slowly getting enough grass to be usable, STOL only @ 200 metres and surrounded by hills...really looking forward to getting my Drifter in/out of here! Only fly in the ointment is trying to find the dollars for a cheap hangar so I can keep it here 24/7.

I'm a Flying Tiger so I might see you at Boonah sometime?

Cheers,

BP

PS hey facthunter, do you know your avatar pic is now complete at 1:1 scale and soon to take to the air at Boonah ?

Never noticed that myself - just folded each A4 page up so it fits the licence holder. But if I put the old reading glasses on, under a good bright light, I can just make out the perforations!

But 20 mainly blank pages? Waste.
