facthunter Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Instructors operate under the "auspices" of a particular FTF. They can't act independently. Nev

facthunter Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 Same thing. The instructors operate under his/her authority.at a certain FTF They sometimes have a 'satellite" aerodrome, they service, but I'm fairly sure that's a documented thing rather than ad hoc, and would be in their locality to some extent. I know at least one person used to do a lot of remote renewals. I don't know what the relationship was with the RAAus or exemptions given. Don't give up. I'm only saying what I think is the practice/policy. You don't HAVE to do it in a Foxbat. You will read that you must do it in the plane you fly most I've hardly ever, IF EVER complied with that. You could use a conversion to something else (or any upgrade) as a BFR. anywhere..Nev 1 1
mnewbery Posted January 3, 2017 Posted January 3, 2017 For example, getting a tailwheel or low performance endorsement would reset the time on a BFR. Plus it's a lot of fun 1
Nightmare Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 I see on the RAA website there's a flight school listed at Cunnamulla. Does that help? 1
Paul davenport Posted January 8, 2017 Posted January 8, 2017 I try to do a BFR in something other than my a/c just to try them out and sharpen my skills, and as stated it's lots of fun
