Looks like a Tecnam RG so probably not "two passengers on board". Hope they're ok.

This has been reported before with other incidents in RAA and very rarely has it been the case, but I believe these reports start off as an ambulance report on two patients taken from the scene and the journalist turns them into two "passengers".

 

With the advent of driverless Uber cars it will probably get even more common.

Come on, this is the press we're talking about. They can't tell the difference between a Cessna and a hole in the ground. How do you expect them to know that 2POB means pilot and passenger.

Looks nasty, glad to see the crew made it out in reasonable shape and hope they recover quickly, hope the plane is insured as it can be replaced.

Considering how the plane looks they seem to have fared pretty well, Speedy recovery to both.
