Flying Officer Kite Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 traffic delayed on 14th street bridge Out of interest - anyone know if this is for real or photoshopped?
Camel Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 Out of interest - anyone know if this is for real or photoshopped? You got me interested to know too so I googled. It is a photoshop picture of a real incident. The Apocalyptic Illustrations of Steve McGhee | Amusing Planet Air Florida Flight 90 - Wikipedia 1
Akromaster Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 You got me interested to know too so I googled. It is a photoshop picture of a real incident. The Apocalyptic Illustrations of Steve McGhee | Amusing Planet Air Florida Flight 90 - Wikipedia Yea..I was wondering that myself. When I first saw it, I thought it was too unbelievable that a plane that big could just gently fall onto he bridge and have almost no damage. In any case the shadows just didn't look right, like the bridge frame casting shadows onto the wing?? 1
Nico13 Posted March 30, 2017 Posted March 30, 2017 You got me interested to know too so I googled. It is a photoshop picture of a real incident. The Apocalyptic Illustrations of Steve McGhee | Amusing Planet Air Florida Flight 90 - Wikipedia I remember seeing an Air Crash Investigation of that flight some time back. The bit about using the jet wash of the plane in front to melt their own ice prior to take off jogged the memory.
planedriver Posted April 26, 2017 Posted April 26, 2017 That's a light load Frank. You should take a look at their trains. No goats, no chickens, no mother-in laws. Should get off the deck in no time. 1

David2ayo Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 Only put a 'funny' on it because no serious injuries (apart from a huge dent in pride). English is a great language for the humorist - most words have multiple meanings depending on context. (Old Bar 1 October 2011) David
cscotthendry Posted May 29, 2017 Posted May 29, 2017 That guy will never live that down. *puts towel over head and runs around yard* "Ferris wheel? I don't see any ferris wheel." Agree with David, very fortunate no one was seriously injured or killed. 2
Marty_d Posted May 30, 2017 Posted May 30, 2017 That guy will never live that down. What's that old joke about Yanos the Greek... "I build all these houses, no one call me Yanos the builder. I built those fishing boats, no one call me Yanos the shipwright. I planted that olive grove, no one call me Yanos the farmer. But I f*ck ONE goat....!" 1 2 4
Marty_d Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 I want to know if he flew an interception and landed between the struts (bloody good flying if that's the case!) - or if the lazy bugger was there from takeoff? 1
Yenn Posted June 16, 2017 Posted June 16, 2017 Obviously not a Stol pigeon. I have never seen a bird perched at 90 degrees to a strong wind. Photo shopped? 2
