ClintonB Posted September 25, 2020 Posted September 25, 2020 Would be a good one to fly the little yellow plane from a few posts back through, would get the ATC smiling 1

SplitS Posted September 26, 2020 Posted September 26, 2020 Geophys at Coober Pedy where I took the pic. Made more funny because of the antenna out the back. 1

red750 Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 This has to be the epitome of ugly. It's a Russian Gyroplanes Gyros-1 Farmer. 2
Marty_d Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Kind of looks like one of those pretend planes they have as rides for kids in shopping centres. 2
onetrack Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Visibility from the cockpit must be, errr, less than spectacular. What with a windscreen pillar each side, and a bloody great mast right in front of you, I reckon it must be a handful to land. 1
planedriver Posted October 15, 2020 Posted October 15, 2020 Looks more like a Transavia design to me, and just as ugly as their old AirTruk which apparently was quite nice to fly.

You could replace the whole top with a clear dome-shaped canopy - not like you need any structural stiffness there and you're protected from rollover by the mast itself. 1
