I got 37, congratulations Marty. Some of the captured ones with the wrong markings tricked me. I wish I wasn't so gullible.

47 for me, must admit I think 4 of them I got right not by knowing what it was, but by knowing what it wasn't.

I did well at the quiz- very proud of my knowledge of fighter aircraft 70 years ago. I would have done equally well on a quiz about car models of the 60s or guitar solos...

 

Why is it that we can get so expert at totally useless information? Like a newborn chick bonding with whoever they see first after hatching, we seem to be very impressionable in our teens...

 

I'm still hooked on a few women from that era!

Awesome quiz! I won't pretend I was hoping to do well, but quite happy with 33... that was some time spent with Airfix kits as a kid! (Still can't tell American radials apart lol!)

We learned it more because our, Airmen/ AckAck soldiers/ and sailor's had to know who to shoot!.
